Overview

BrainBurst: Trivia Quiz RPG is a trivia quiz game. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personally identifiable information on our own servers.

Data We Collect

All game data - score, streak, XP, coins, owned items, settings, and quiz history - is stored locally on your device only and never leaves it. Some standard, non-identifying data is processed by the Google services the app uses: Google AdMob for ads (see Advertising), Google Firebase for analytics and crash reporting (see Analytics and Crash Reporting), and Google Play Billing for optional purchases (see In-App Purchases). We never receive your name, email, address, or payment card details.

Push Notifications

Reminder notifications are generated locally on your device. No data is sent to any server. You can disable them anytime in your device settings.

Advertising

BrainBurst shows ads served by Google AdMob in two forms:

The one-time Remove Ads purchase removes both.

To serve these ads, AdMob may collect a device advertising ID and standard device information, and may use it for personalised ads. Google's handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy and partner-sites. On Android you can opt out of personalised advertising under Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation, and you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings at any time.

In-App Purchases

BrainBurst offers optional one-time in-app purchases (currently Remove Ads and Unlock All Items). All purchases are processed securely by Google Play Billing - we never see, receive, or store your payment card details or billing address; Google handles the entire transaction. What you unlock is saved on your device and tied to your Google account, so it can be restored on a new device or after reinstalling. Purchases are one-time and non-consumable - there are no subscriptions or recurring charges.

Analytics and Crash Reporting

To understand how the game is used and to fix problems, BrainBurst uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics. These collect aggregate, non-identifying information such as app events, session counts, device model, OS version, and crash diagnostics. This data is processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy. We use it only in aggregate to improve the app and cannot use it to identify you personally.

Third-Party Services

The app relies on these Google services: Google AdMob (rewarded and interstitial ads), Google Play Billing (in-app purchases), and Google Firebase (analytics and crash reporting). We use no other third-party tracking SDKs - everything else happens on-device.

Children's Privacy

BrainBurst is a general-audience trivia game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Our advertising partner Google AdMob may collect a device advertising identifier to serve ads, as described above; you can reset or delete that ID in your device settings.

Data Deletion

Uninstalling the app deletes all local data on your device. We hold no copy. You can also wipe your progress at any time from Settings → Reset All Progress. Advertising, analytics, and purchase records held by Google are governed by Google's own retention policies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Changes are reflected in the Last updated date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
